A Painter’s Life

What happens in the studio before a painting is finished? Brushes, sketches, half-dry paint and unfinished canvases hang in the air. The horse is the muse the painter keeps returning to, and Hermès pieces slip in among the tools as part of the work’s rhythm. We wanted passersby to see the hours behind the artwork.
Challenge
Show the creative life behind an artwork, not only the finished piece.
Strategy
Treat each window as a moment in an artist’s studio, with the horse as a recurring muse.
Solution
Tools, sketches and unfinished canvases hang in mid-air while animation lets the brush paint stroke by stroke, and Hermès pieces settle into the studio’s desks and scenes.

櫥窗設計
一幅畫完成之前，畫室裡發生了什麼？畫筆、草稿、半乾的顏料和沒畫完的畫布，都還懸在半空。馬是畫家反覆描繪的繆思，愛馬仕商品則混進工具之間，成為創作節奏的一部分。我們想讓路人看見的，是作品背後的那段時間。
挑戰
呈現作品背後的創作生活，不只是完成品。
策略
把每扇櫥窗當成畫室裡的一個瞬間，馬則是反覆出現的繆思。
解決
畫具、草稿與未完成的畫布懸在半空，動畫讓畫筆一筆一筆在畫紙上畫開，愛馬仕商品則融入畫室的桌面與場景之中。
