Created for European Week at Fuxing SOGO, Floating Autumn brings the atmosphere of an autumn forest into the department store interior.

Responding to the client’s request for an installation that was both visually impactful and carbon-conscious, AMCP Studio developed a suspended canopy made with recycled materials. Hundreds of colored paper elements were layered overhead, forming a floating landscape of warm autumn tones that shifted as visitors moved through the space.

Designed for a 360-degree viewing experience, the installation allowed visitors to walk beneath the canopy and encounter the work from multiple angles. Through lightweight materials, spatial layering, and a strong seasonal presence, Floating Autumn created an immersive environment that balanced visual impact with a more responsible material approach.
