Everyday Stories with Taiwanese Charm

Hermès Taiwan · 2025▸Case study

Window display

Everyday Taiwanese rituals become a whimsical horse's home, bringing local memory into a luxury retail setting.

From challenge to solution

  1. 1ChallengeMake the products part of the story, not objects on display — in a scene rooted in Taiwanese everyday life.
  2. 2StrategyStudy each product closely, then build the scene around its specific features, so every piece plays a role in the storyline.
  3. 3SolutionA horse's whimsical home made of Taiwanese daily rituals, where the products appear naturally within the narrative.

Land of Tomorrow

Keelung Ciao Art Festival · 2022▸Case study

Public art

A fictional marine fossil transforms a former specimen room into a reflection on ocean resources, memory, and possible futures.

From challenge to solution

  1. 1ChallengeMake the collapse of marine ecosystems — overfishing, food waste, warming seas — felt by a public focused on digital trends.
  2. 2StrategyImagine the year 2249: the remains of an extinct shallow-sea fish, asleep for over 200 years, are excavated at Bachimen Harbor and revived through DNA reconstruction.
  3. 3SolutionThe fishermen's association building's specimen room — once a Japanese-era aquatic products hall — becomes a museum of the future, where vanished species meet visitors.
